Tara Carter Hernandez
President
Ms. Hernandez oversees the real estate development activities of the company, manages corporate and project strategy, project selection and financial relationships for the development of the firm's projects with over 26 years of industry experience. The firm is currently under development and/or construction of urban development projects
Ms. Hernandez is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge MA with a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate Development and a graduate of Loyola University with a degree in Finance. She is also active on several national and local industry and not-for-profit boards of trustees and directors.
Paul Prechter, LEED AP
Development Project Manager
Mr. Prechter is a Development Project Manager responsible for facilitating the development oversight of JCH assigned projects. He was most recently the Director of Construction for a large affordable housing developer overseeing the sustainable development and construction of over 4,000 apartment units in Florida, the USVI and the Carolinas.
Mr. Prechter has over 10 years’ experience in the real estate industry developing and constructing residential, retail and multi-family projects.
Mr. Prechter earned a BS in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2002, is a LEED accredited professional certified in BD+C and LEED for Homes as well as a FL Certified General Contractor.
Emily Zawislak
Project Assistant
Ms. Zawislak is responsible for a variety of administrative duties including monitoring the achievement of project activities on behalf of the development team, developing and maintaining project deliverables, and assisting to successfully complete project goals. Additionally, she performs tasks necessary to obtain regulatory approvals, and provides support to the Developer in the ongoing coordination between architects, contractors, and other members of the Project Development team.
Ms. Zawislak earned a BS in International Business from the College of Charleston, South Carolina.
